Campus Resources
The Office of Student Conduct works closely with a variety of campus offices to ensure that students are connected to appropriate resources, many of which are provided here. When appropriate, we can provide referrals to these services within the university community. If you are unsure who to talk to regarding a particular issue, feel free to contact us and discuss the matter with someone from our office. We will do our best to direct you to the appropriate office or campus resource.
Academic Advising Programs & Services

Academic Advising Programs and Services (AAPS) provides Walk-in Advising in Holmes Hall for students who are exploring undergraduate majors at NC State. Cross-curricular advisors can help students evaluate potential majors, navigate the on-campus transfer process (CODA), and plan appropriate coursework as students transition between majors. No appointment is necessary.
Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides academic assistance for many 100- and 200- level math, chemistry and physics courses, as well as writing and speaking support for undergraduate and graduate students.
African American Cultural Center

The African American Cultural Center promotes awareness of and appreciation for African American and other African descent experiences through activities and events that enhance academic excellence and strengthen cultural competence for the campus and surrounding communities.
NC State CARES

NC State CARES provides support for students who are in crisis or who are identified as exhibiting concerning or worrisome behaviors.
Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides counseling for NC State students experiencing personal, academic or vocational concerns. They offer psychological assessment and psychiatric consultation. Most services are free to currently enrolled students of North Carolina State University. The Counseling Center offers a number of group counseling experiences on issues related to students’ needs (all of which are also free and without limits on participation), in addition to time-limited individual counseling. The center also provides workshops on a variety of topics related to Stress Management, Healthy Relationships, Anger Management, Sexual Assault Awareness, Self-Esteem, Time Management, and many more.

The Disability Resources Office (DRO) collaborates with students to determine reasonable accommodations to ensure equal opportunity. The staff works with departments throughout the university to assure that the programs and facilities are accessible to every student at NC State and in a way that is fair to everyone while still maintaining academic standards.
Financial Aid

The Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This office is located at 2831 Thurman Drive at the corner of Dan Allen Drive and Thurman Drive. Visitors should park in the Dan Allen Drive parking deck, as there is no visitor parking in front of the building.
LGBTQ Pride Center

The LGBTQ Pride Center serves students of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions, including gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, queer, transgender, genderqueer, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, non-binary, agender, intersex, and questioning students and their allies. It strives to increase the NC State campus community’s understanding of diversity by working collaboratively to raise awareness, promote respect, and create a culture of equity, inclusion, and social justice.

University Housing provides housing solutions for students on campus.
